She completed her early education in different "Kendriya Vidyalaya's" in India.Her stories and poetry have been published in various magazines such as "Conde Nast" and "Verve".Shenoy has a very popular blog and writes a weekly column in the "Financial Chronicle ".She has a very popular online following.Preeti has given talks in many premier educational institutions such as IIT's and IIM's.She is also an artist specializing in portraiture and illustrated journaling.She,among the top five highest selling authors in India,is also on the" Forbes " longlist of the most influential celebrities in India.Her work has been translated to many Languages.She was a keynote speaker at "Birmingham" literature festival.Shenoy has been awarded the "Indian of the year" for 2017 by "Brands Academy" for her contribution to literature.She has also received the "Academia Award" business excellence by the "New Delhi Institute of Management" .

SUMMARY OF THE BOOK:
Veda is an ambitious young girl living in a small town of Joshimath.She aspires so much in her life and has a great academic record.But her parents just want to get her married to a nice guy.Veda complies with her parents wish and is married off to a random guy in another city.Now the random guy is actually nice but her mother-in-law actively abuses her.For the first time in her life she fails in the exams.
At the lowest point,she meets Kanika -a neighbour who works for an NGO called Sankalp.With Kanika help Veda gets permission to volunteer at Sankalp.They are joined by Ron -from the UK who also stays over as a teacher. So Sankalp is essentially her life,but that is about to change,when one of her student named Sanju dies with exam phobia . As her life seems to spin out of control -Veda tries to get over the grief of Sanju's death by throwing herself in work.But Sanju's parents and neighbours accuse Sankalp for Sanju's death and stops sending their children to Sankalp. On personal font Veda finds her husband is in love with someone else.Besides all the chaos,she speaks about the truth about Sankalp to the parents and helps her husband to get married to the one he loved. At the end,she takes up a new home all alone and opens a new school with the help of Ron and Kanika.
